Professional Bio

Alex Bui is a finance major at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, expected to graduate in December 2025. He holds an Associate of Arts in Marketing from Saint Paul College, where he earned a 3.8+ GPA and received a scholarship award. His professional experience includes serving as a seasonal event staff member for the City of Maplewood and completing 120 hours of tax preparation training through the Universal Accounting Institute. Alex is multilingual—fluent in Vietnamese and Chinese, with conversational Japanese proficiency—and certified in tax preparation. He brings strong skills in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and presentations, along with a passion for finance, community engagement, and cross-cultural communication.
